It is the first time that I am involved in carrying out development cooperation activities with the assistance of the Local Technical Unit of the Italian Cooperation It is a satisfactory experience, and this thanks to the staff working at the Italian Cooperation.

As a matter of fact, even though the ongoing programmes are numerous and manifold, in this Country, in Rwanda and in Burundi which are also under my jurisdiction, I would have had several difficulties to thoroughly monitor them without the assistance of professional experts.
